Thanks to everyone who came out to the New Salem Country Opry on Saturday night, April 25th! Over 200 people came to the outskirts of Petersburg. Our hosts, Doris and Bill Higdon, were wonderful and so was the New Salem Country Opry Band. Love you guys! Hope to do it again real soon!!!! FYI: Formerly known as the Illinois Opry, the NSCO has hosted country music legends like Marty Robbins, Freddy Fender, Barbra Mandrell, and Charlie Rich just to name a few.
